Mackenzie is a Digital Nomad from Mexico City, Mexico who has taught Spanish for more than 2 years. She comes from a long background in education and tutoring. She is a bilingual speaker of English and Spanish, having lived in both Mexico and the U.S and learned both languages from birth. She currently resides in Mexico City but has traveled to other Spanish speaking countries including Guatemala, Peru, and Spain. 

 

She studied Cultural Anthropology at Duke University, graduating in May 2020 and firmly believes in the power of language to share culture. She has employed herself at different upcoming startups that are quickly growing in the online sector.

 

Her outlook on language acquisition is as follows:

 

“I think that learning a language is one of the key ways of accessing a culture for without it, you cannot fully immerse yourself in a place or experience. She loves to travel and hopes that your studies in Spanish will lead you to experience the wonders of the Hispanic world for yourself. ”
